At HHHunt, we believe in positively impacting the community we serve through our Brand Promise to be an Engaged Community Partner. Each month, our teams come together to support initiatives that create meaningful change. This November, we not only addressed food insecurity through our Annual Holiday Food Drive but also partnered with local organizations to serve meals, volunteer time and share valuable resources. Here's a recap of our endeavors:
Our Annual Holiday Food Drive was a success! Team members from our Apartment Living, New Homes, Planned Communities and Corporate divisions, along with our homeowners, residents and partners, united to collect 3,906 non-perishable food items. These essential items were donated to local food banks across Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, nourishing families in need.
In addition, HHHunt matched each item with a $1.00 contribution, resulting in $3,906 donated to these local nonprofits. This year’s recipients included Feed More, Henrico Community Food Bank, Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, Haymarket Regional Food Panty, Bluffton Self Help, Nashville Rescue Mission, Harvest Hope, Southern Maryland Food Bank, Chesterfield Food Bank, Interfaith Food Shuttle and others dedicated to fighting hunger. We believe everyone deserves access to food—not just during the holidays. Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference in the fight against hunger!
On November 21st, our Marketing team partnered with Better Housing Coalition (BHC) to serve a holiday meal to seniors at Carter Woods Senior Apartments in Richmond, VA. BHC is the region’s largest not-for-profit community development organization, dedicated to providing affordable housing and supportive services. Our team spent four hours preparing packaged to-go meals and serving in-person meals to residents, spreading warmth and holiday cheer. This partnership reflects our commitment to enriching the lives of seniors in our community.
On November 13th, our Richmond Homes Construction Team volunteered with Richmond Toolbank, a nonprofit organization that lends tools to those in need and provides training on building, renovation and reconstruction. The team of 20 collectively contributed over 80 hours, offering resources and expertise to help the community gain valuable skills for home improvement. This effort reflects our dedication to creating better living spaces for all by teaching the importance of self-improvement.
Throughout November, HHHunt team members demonstrated the meaning of community engagement by dedicating time and effort to initiatives that make a lasting impact. Our commitment to service is at the heart of who we are. Learn more about our Brand Promises or explore opportunities to join our award-winning, community-focused team—we’re hiring!
