March in Action: HHHunt’s Engaged Community Partner Recap

At HHHunt, our brand promise to be an Engaged Community Partner drives us to give back to the communities where we live and work. Every month, our teams come together to support meaningful initiatives that create lasting impacts. This March, we focused on making a difference through volunteer efforts, donation drives and community engagement. Here’s how our team members gave back:

Easter Egg Factory in Suffolk, VA

HHHunt Homes of Hampton Roads joined Beech Grove United Methodist Church for its annual Easter Egg Factory fundraiser, a cherished tradition just down the road from Creekside Reserve. Since 1979, the church has handcrafted homemade chocolate eggs in flavors like peanut butter, butter cream and coconut, drawing visitors from all over. Our team of 10 spent a fun day shaping, dipping, decorating and packaging these treats while connecting with longtime residents who shared stories and knowledge of the area. It was a rewarding experience, and we look forward to returning next year!

Blood Drive in Decatur, GA

On March 7th, our Abberly Skye team in Decatur, GA, partnered with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers to host a blood drive at the community’s leasing office. Residents and team members came together to donate, knowing that every contribution could help save lives. Blood donations are a critical resource for hospitals, emergency care and patients in need, and this initiative reinforced our commitment to wellness and community support. We’re grateful to everyone who participated in making a meaningful impact!

Pet Supply Drive in Glen Allen, VA

The Abberly Twin Hickory team in Glen Allen, VA, organized a pet supply drive to support the Henrico Humane Society, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and finding loving homes for animals in need. Led by leasing consultant Marquis and supported by the entire team, the drive collected over 60 essential pet care items along with a $100 monetary donation. These contributions will help provide food, medical care and other necessities for local animals awaiting adoption. Thanks to the generosity of our team and residents, more pets will receive the care and support they deserve!

That was a paws-itively amazing donation drive! Abberly Avera in Manassas, VA, also stepped up to support furry friends in need.

Pet Supply Drive in Manassas, VA

The Abberly Avera team hosted a pet supply drive benefitting A Forever Home Animal Rescue Foundation, collecting 110 items to support rescued animals. This partnership was especially meaningful since some of the organization’s team members call our community home, strengthening our connection to their mission. As a pet-friendly community with no breed or weight restrictions, we’re proud to support efforts that help animals find loving homes.
