Abberly Solaire Fills Hearts and Purses

Team members from Abberly Solaire Apartment Community in Garner, North Carolina participated in the Purse Project in May. The Purse Project’s mission is to fill a woman’s heart with hope by providing her with a donated purse filled with personal care items.

After collecting purses, the team filled them with items such as make-up, gift cards, lotion, and perfume. Then, each filled purse was donated to the Wake County Women’s Shelter for Mother’s Day. The purses were given to mothers who may have otherwise been overlooked, to make their Mother’s Day more special.  Team members also assisted with a Mother’s Day Breakfast where each woman picked out a special purse.

We want to thank the Abberly Solaire team members for supporting this special project.  Collecting and donating purses to those in need is a wonderful way our Apartment Living division is living our vision to improve the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction.
