At HHHunt, we believe in positively impacting the community we serve through our brand promise to be an Engaged Community Partner. Together, our team is not just making a difference, but empowering change and fostering a better tomorrow for our communities. Here’s a recap of our recent volunteer initiatives:
Team members from Abberly Market Point partnered with Ronald McDonald House to prepare warm, comforting meals for the families staying at their local house in Greenville, SC. Ronald McDonald House Charity provides care and resources to families with sick children. These meals allowed the families more time to focus on their loved ones. Partnering with Ronald McDonald House shows our dedication to easing burdens and fostering comfort for families during difficult times.
In Greenville, SC, our HHHunt team at Abberly Market Point carried out our brand promise by partnering with Harvest Hope. Harvest Hope is a food bank that serves the local residents of Greenville, SC. Volunteers spent nine hours working alongside the local food bank to prepare meals for families in need. These dedicated hours play a large role in helping this organization increase food security for Greenville, SC. This act of volunteerism from our team exemplifies HHHunt’s dedication to giving back to the community we serve.
On June 5th, Abberly Green Apartment Homes by HHHunt hosted The American Red Cross for a blood drive at their clubhouse. Our team assisted community members who generously came out to donate blood—so many that we met the capacity for slots that day! The team also assembled a wellness basket, filled with necessities to live a healthy life, to collect donations for a raffle to support the organization. The team played a crucial role in ensuring the drive left all participants with an enjoyable and meaningful experience.
In another exciting initiative, Abberly Green team members went above and beyond collecting 211 items to donate to FeedNC, one of the largest food bank facilities in North Carolina. FeedNC is highly dedicated to using donated food to empower change. These items were collected during a planned community event as a way to bring our residents together. This effort will play a large role in helping FeedNC reach their initiative.
On June 18, our HHHunt Finance and Accounting team assisted Goochland Cares, a community center where we volunteer every quarter. Goochland Cares conducts many wide scale projects that help residents in 12 different areas including food, clothing, shelter, medical, transportation services, financial assistance and more. Thirteen of our team members spent hours sorting through clothing donations that will be offered in the Goochland Cares Clothes Closet . This ongoing partnership with Goochland Cares has been significant in creating better lives for the residents in Goochland, VA.
Throughout June, the HHHunt team excelled in participating in various impactful projects. Through hours of dedicated volunteer initiatives, our team reinforced the value of being an Engaged Community Partner by creating lasting changes in our communities.
