Engaged Community Partner | HHHunt Volunteers With Goochland Cares

HHHunt's Corporate Marketing team members were excited and proud to volunteer with Goochland Cares to assist with their food pantry outreach. Goochland Cares mission is to provide basic human services and health care to our Goochland neighbors in need. One of those needs is alleviating hunger through their food pantry.

Volunteers packed grocery bags, sorted donated food, stocked shelves, and loaded perishable food into refrigerators/freezers.  The team helped wherever needed - especially given there were large food donations delivered over the Memorial Day weekend by local grocers.

Kasey Hicks, Marketing Support Specialist and Goochland resident, shared her feelings on this initiative, “Volunteering at Goochland Cares was an amazing experience and something I would encourage others to do! The opportunity to observe first-hand, the multitude of services the staff and volunteers provide day-in and day-out to the residents of Goochland County was inspiring to say the least. As a Goochlander myself, I am even more proud of the community that I'm blessed to call home.”
