HHHunt Partners with Henrico County in Affordable Housing Program Launch

Henrico, VA – HHHunt is proud to announce its participation in Henrico’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund program, designed to increase access to affordable homeownership in the area. Henrico Board of Supervisors Chair Tyrone E. Nelson, of the Varina District, Jonathan Ridout, Vice President of Real Estate Development and General Manager of HHHunt, and other community leaders gathered on October 29, 2024, to introduce the program’s first communities.

The official announcement was held at Parkside Townes, an HHHunt community.  Parkside Townes consists of 123 low-maintenance townhomes and is located along Whiteside Road, near the Chickahominy Family YMCA and Henrico County’s Taylor Farm Park.

“HHHunt is excited to partner with Henrico County and the Maggie Walker Community Land Trust for funding from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund,” said Jonathan Ridout. “Parkside Townes was designed with the goal of affordability.”

Henrico County allocated $60 million to launch the Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support a range of affordable housing options. In September, the nonprofit Partnership for Housing Affordability, which administers the program, invited builders and developers to participate.
